From 1996 to 2012, idealCO organized 12 editions of the National Conference on the Prevention and Territorial Management of Waste in Agen, then in Paris, bringing together 2,000 waste management professionals each year: communities, service providers, managers, associations, etc. Since then, many digital meetings have been scheduled - time for collaborative exchanges, online debates, bi-annual meeting "Les Matinales des Déchets", e-Meetings déchèteries ... - and we wish, with all of you, members and partners of the Networks Inter-waste and waste treatment of idealCO, relaunch this annual meeting, face-to-face, in a driving and committed territory.

Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole illustrates this commitment through the voluntarism of its zero waste strategy voted in March 2022. Its priorities based on prevention, the sorting of bio-waste at source by all means, the transformation of its industrial and tax tools with the project to incentive pricing, make Montpellier the most appropriate city to host this innovative event.

📅 The long-awaited 13th edition will therefore be held on September 7 and 8, 2023 at the CORUM in Montpellier, and this event is making a comeback in a new light; that of the Carrefour des Déchets! 📅

We are expecting many of you for this special occasion which will bring us together around a rich and varied program: 2 days of conferences, workshops and thematic tours, as well as a beautiful exhibition space so that the show is as pleasant as possible and allows everyone to share by taking advantage of the time for discussion that is always appreciated during this type of meeting.

Bio-waste, REP sectors, place of the SPGD, or even issues related to human resources in this sector will be on the program for these 2 days.
