Green Gas Service GmbH, in cooperation with the Compost and Biogas Association of Austria, as well
as the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce and the State of Lower Austria, is organizing the 3-day
Green Gas Congress at the WIFI in St. Pölten from December 4th to 6th, 2024.
This year, we are again expecting all well-known specialist exhibitors from the fields of biogas, wood
gas and hydrogen and over 400 visitors.

The congress has now become a fixture in the biogas and renewable energy industry and has been
held since 2006, mainly in the federal states of Lower Austria, Upper Austria and Styria. The main
focus is on the biogas sector. However, since the topics of wood gas and hydrogen are now becoming
more and more important, Green Gas Service GmbH, together with the Compost and Biogas
Association of Austria, has decided this year to extend the congress to 3 days. We are living in the
most turbulent energy decade in a long time and it is therefore important that the biogas industry
sets a strong example. As the challenges continue to grow, interest in renewable energy technologies
is also increasing enormously.
